Our Geography Curriculum

Welcome to the Geography curriculum at Skegness Junior Academy, where learning becomes an exciting exploration of the world around us. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity in our pupils, encouraging them to be curious about their local area, country, city, and the broader global landscape. We believe that Geography is more than just memorising facts; it's about fostering a natural curiosity that drives children to question, investigate, and understand the world they live in.

Our knowledge-rich curriculum delves into the Earth's fundamental elements—land, water, air, and living things, including people. Through engaging lessons, thought-provoking questions, and interactive activities, children explore environmental issues and contemplate the impact of human behavior on our planet. At Skegness Junior Academy, we aim to cultivate informed global citizens who not only appreciate the intricacies of geography, but also recognise their role in shaping the world's future.
