The Academy day begins promptly at 9:00am, pupils line up and are collected at 8:55 in the playground, and finishes at 3:00pm with a 15 minute morning break for each year group and a lunch break at 12:10pm until 12:50pm.

Pupils should arrive at the Academy no earlier than 8:45am as there is no adult supervision until this time. Pupils will be met by their class teacher before being taken into school ready for learning to begin at 8:55am. Any children arriving after 9:00am should report to the main office where they will be marked as arriving late.

Learning begins at 9:00 in all classrooms; responding to feedback in books, intervention, guided group work etc. Pupils who are late may be required to catch up on the work that they have missed.

Breakfast Club

Our popular breakfast club is run for children attending both Skegness Infants and Junior sites. Children enjoy a relaxed start to the day before taking part in a range of activities. These are run on a rota and include sports and creative fun. Staff accompany children to their classes at the end of the session ready to start their learning together.

After School Club

We run a variety of after school clubs to support areas of learning and extend enrichment opportunities for our children. From football and dance to reading,art and homework support.  Provision changes each term. To apply, please refer to the list of after school clubs given to children or enquire at the office.
